THE BOOKMITES FOUNDATION

Bookmites was founded in April 2026. We are a nonprofit dedicated to expanding literacy, preserving the stories and conversations that matter, and using technology thoughtfully to help families, schools, and communities thrive.

Our Mission

  1. Support literacy and lifelong learning for people of all ages
  2. Recover and preserve important literature and artwork so it is not lost to time, neglect, or disappearance
  3. Make literature more accessible through careful stewardship, thoughtful digitization when appropriate, and programs that meet readers where they are
  4. Uphold the stories, voices, and dialogues that strengthen communities
  5. Use technology as a tool—not a distraction—when it serves the public good
  6. Partner with schools, libraries, and local organizations for lasting impact
