BOOKMITES FOUNDATION is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are actively building programs that preserve literature, expand access for readers, and partner with schools, libraries, and community organizations. Below are our current charitable programs and the outcomes we are working toward.
Literary Preservation & Restoration
We identify historically significant and out-of-print literature—including grey literature trapped in private estates or unavailable formats—and work to restore public access through careful digitization and republication.
Outcome: Out-of-print and at-risk texts are recovered and made available again instead of being lost to platform shutdowns, format rot, or neglect.
Accessible Reading for All Learners
We develop reading tools and print editions designed for neuro-divergent readers, including specialized typefaces and interfaces that reduce barriers to engaging with public-domain and restored works.
Outcome: Readers who struggle with conventional book formats gain practical access to literature through formats built for how they read.
Privacy-First Educational Technology
We build a zero-data study environment and reader infrastructure so communities can engage deeply with texts without surveillance, ad-driven extraction, or non-consensual data harvesting.
Outcome: Families, students, and community groups can use our tools for literacy and learning without trading away their privacy.
Community & Institutional Partnerships
We partner with schools, libraries, and local organizations to deliver literacy programs, volunteer opportunities, and durable educational resources aligned with community needs.
Outcome: Local institutions gain a nonprofit partner focused on lasting literacy impact rather than commercial extraction.
